Steve Kloos
Senior Vice President – Quality
In his role as Vice President of Quality, Steve has oversight for quality standards, mix design and finish guidelines for all divisions of Wells. In addition, he works with Divisional Presidents to develop and implement continuous improvement programs to drive standardization, production efficiency, product quality and waste reduction.
Steve began his career in the Ready Mix Division of Wells, ultimately serving as the General Manager. Upon the sale of the Ready Mix Division, Steve migrated to Prestress and has been involved with all aspects of quality and continuous improvement, most recently serving as the Vice President of Quality – Midwest.
Steve initially excelled in the areas of mix design and finish consistency but has also gotten heavily involved with continuous improvement and earned his Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma through the Opus College at the University of St. Thomas.
