Comments (Fall Hazards) | Frustrated with McGough again. We met with them prior to being on site to go over some topics. One of them was they wanted a site specific fall plan that addressed 100% tie-off above 6 feet. We walked the site with them and they said a scaffold stairway would be in place for us to access the roof along with a horizontal lifeline spanning the whole south edge of the structure. So that is how the fall plan was laid out. Upon my initial inspection, neither of those were done. We had to access the roof from an aerial lift and then we were tying off to the previous set panel. I talked with Greg, their site supervisor and he told me things came up and that he was fine with the way we were handling our fall protection. This is why working with McGough is very frustrating. They need to have consistency with their policies. |
