Wood crates continue to be used to transport steel to jobsites. These crates are overloaded causing the bottoms to fail and plates to fall out of them. My fear is that we have a plate go through someone's windshield as they are being transported to a jobsite. I've been told that the metal foundry crates are not getting back to the plants in a timely manner. We need to do a better job of tracking these crates and getting them back sooner so the shops are not forced to use wood.

With the winter months, electrical wires for the trucks do not have hangers and are being let on the ground in front of the exit door causing a trip hanzard

While walking the TT area, I noticed a lot of garbage and lumber laying around.

While stripping, many crew members throw rigging across the pieces that causes unnecessary scratching and small spalls. Something small everyone can work on to make a big difference in how the pieces look and make less work for the finishers down the line.

While stressing the top layer of 1/2" strand, a wire broke in the chuck. We cut the strand out of the bed, and replaced.

while stressing employee was shocked. we inspected cords and found that it had been smashed or ran over. After changing plug we stressed with no issues.
