Steve Arndt | West plant on the FS23 | 12/18/2017 | 11 | Safe Equipment Operations | Sorry for this being typed up now. But I talked with Corey and production guys on the day this happened. We had a situation on the fs23 where the crew was picking up the first piece and Rick Redman notice that one of the shackles was not completely threaded all the way in. The piece was about 4" off the deck and we set the piece back down on the form and threaded the bolt all the way into the clevis. I talked with Corey about this and asked him at the next safety meeting to talk about this situation so all the guys hear the same message. My suggestion is to have the guys that are stripping make sure they screw the bolt all the way back in and not just part way when they are setting the stronbacks down and off of the craneways. The reason for only screwing them in part way is to save time for the next guy. | Completed | 12/18/2017 | View / Edit Details | |||
