Columns

Wells offers a variety of columns that are integral components for a total precast structure. Columns provide a flexible solution to the structural component for projects as they can be used for a number of applications from parking structures to the structural framework of commercial buildings. They create an ideal framework for hanging wall panels, double tees and setting hollowcore plank with beams and columns.

Columns are typically used to support beams and spandrels in applications such as parking structures and precast concrete structural systems of all types. They typically are designed as multilevel components ranging from a single story to six levels or more. Sizes and shapes can vary to satisfy both architectural and structural requirements.

• Columns available in 12”, 16”, 18”, 20”, 24”, and greater sizes
• Columns are reinforced pre-stressed concrete
• Rectangle columns also available
